Arshad Warsi was born on April 19, 1968, in Bombay, Maharashtra, and attended Barnes School, Deolali in the Nashik region of Maharashtra. He was orphaned at the age of 14 and struggled to make ends meet in Mumbai in his early years. Arshad Warsi was born into a Muslim household in Bombay. His father, Ahmed Ali Khan (Ashiq Hussain), was a Hindi film musician who adopted the surname Warsi after becoming a disciple of Sufi saint Waris Ali Shah.
Arshad is the half-brother of singer Anwar Hussain and actress Asha Sachdev, according to his father’s first marriage to actress Ranjana Sachdev. She joined Arshad Warsi’s dancing ensemble as a student at St. Andrew’s College in Bombay, and they married on February 14, 1999. Their love story began in 1991 when Arshad met Maria during St. Xavier’s Malhar festival. Zeke Zidaan, their first child, was born on August 10, 2004, in Mumbai, India. She and Warsi have a daughter named Renee.
