Dhanush D51 Announced: A pan-India film directed by Sekhar Kammula has been announced ahead of Dhanush’s 40th birthday. The film marks the actor and director’s first cooperation. The project has been given the working title D51. D51, which would feature Dhanush in a fresh look, was announced on the eve of the National award-winners birthday. Dhanush and Telugu director Sekhar Kammula are collaborating on a film that will be the Tamil actor’s 51st. Dhanush formally announced the project on Twitter with a concept poster a day before his 40th birthday. The poster depicts a massive wad of ancient hundred-rupee notes in the background of a spreading metropolis. The dated cash could be an indication that D51 is an antique Film.
According to the makers’ official report, the film would be released on a large scale in several languages. It was also stated that Dhanush will have a new look in the flick. Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao create D51 through their production company, Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP- Unit Of Asian Group, in collaboration with Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. The film is presented by Sonali Narang.
Sekhar Kammula, who made his feature film debut with Dollar Dreams in 1999, got the National Award for the same. With films such as Anand, Godavari, Happy Days, and Leader, he has established himself as a significant voice in Telugu. Dhanush, who created a name for himself in Telugu states with his previous release Sir (Vaathi in Tamil), will do his second Telugu feature with D51.
The film will be released in many languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao will produce it through their production company Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP in collaboration with Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. The film will be introduced by Sonali Narang.
Dhanush is planning his next Captain Miller. The film is directed by Arun Matheswaran and stars Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, Priyanka Arul Mohan, and John Kokken in major parts.
