“Fighter” Features Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone & Anil Kapoor on 25th January 2024.
Hrithik an IAF Officer with Sukhoi Su30 in Fighter: Siddharth Anand, an Indian director, has staked his own in the action-thriller genre, creating blockbuster after blockbuster, including Shah Rukh Khan’s box-office smash Pathaan earlier this year. Anand, who excels in visually stunning high-octane action scenes, is getting ready to repeat the feat in his upcoming film Fighter.
The first look teaser for the star-studded movie, which also stars Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, and Hrithik Roshan, makes it plain that Top Gun served as an inspiration.
Hrithik an IAF Officer with Sukhoi Su30 in Fighter: Hrithik Roshan as an IAF Officer
Hrithik Roshan is first seen on a runway while wearing a pilot G-suit in the first scene of the video. Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor follow suit, both dressed in pilot outfits, carrying helmets, and wearing sunglasses along with three fighter jets flying in perfect formation.
A new, thunderous version of India’s national song Vande Mataram can be heard booming in the background. Its use implies that the trio may be serving their country in some capacity. As the camera pans down to the tarmac, we see Roshan dressed in a smart pilot outfit and sunglasses combo reminiscent of Tom Cruise’s famous appearance.
Padukone, further afield, appears every bit the ultimate boss in her own ensemble as she steams down the runway with gloves in hand. The last reveal is Anil Kapoor, who appears to have just stepped off a flight, his aviation helmet in hand and a jet in his rearview mirror. Nothing else is revealed other than the highly awaited introductions and a 2024 release date for the film, but the fast transitions and emphasis on aviation hint at lots of sky-high excitement.
The ‘Spirit of Fighter’ motion poster begins with a shot of three Sukhois taking flight. The camera then moves to Hrithik Roshan, who will play an IAF officer named Patty in the film. In his pilot G-suit, the actor looks spiffy. Previously, the actor revealed that he spent roughly 12 days filming inside Sukhoi fighter jets and with Sukhois.
The film will be Roshan and Anand’s third collaboration, following 2019 hit War and 2014’s Bang Bang! Meanwhile, Padukone and Anand last collaborated on Pathaan, in which she played a furious covert agent tasked with eliminating a growing threat from within.
Although both performers have worked in the genre, they have never starred together before, making for intriguing viewing. While information is still scarce at this point, Fighter appears to have everything in place to begin 2024 with a boom.
The ‘Fighter’ team has unveiled the first motion poster from the flick. The film, directed by Siddharth Anand of ‘Pathaan’ and ‘War’ fame, would be the first collaboration between Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor. Following the release of the film, fans showed their joy on Twitter.
The action-packed poster begins with overhead pictures of three F/A-18E in formation before cutting to a ground track shot that leads up to the reveal of Hrithik’s character wearing sunglasses and the aviators’ attire. This is followed by Deepika and Anil Kapoor’s character cards.

A day later, Shah Rukh Khan rushed to Twitter to re-share the ‘Fighter’ trailer and wished the film’s crew. On the occasion of Independence Day, Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor’s film ‘Fighter’ was released. Shah Rukh Khan re-shared Hrithik’s post and praised the team after the film trended all day.
Wow, he added, “This trio of iHrithik, deepikapadukone, and AnilKapoor is looking Awesome.” Best wishes, Duggu and Sid. Keep winning the battles, both of you.
The movie used real Indian Air Force cadets, and Vishal-Shekhar’s soundtrack CD has five songs. Satchith Paulose served as cinematographer. ‘Fighter’ was supposed to hit theaters on September 30, 2022, however, it was pushed back due to production difficulties caused by the COVID-19 epidemic.
‘Fighter,’ produced by Viacom18 Studios in collaboration with Marflix Pictures, also stars Akshay Oberoi. On January 25, 2024, the movie is scheduled to open nationwide in theaters, exactly one year after Siddharth Anand’s “Pathaan.”
Fighter is co-written by filmmaker Anand and Ramon Chibb, an ex-Indian Army officer, and is produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures. The picture, which reportedly cost Rs. 250 crores, features cinematography by Satchith Paulose, who earlier worked on Anand’s Pathaan.
Fighter, which was announced in January 2021, was supposed to hit theaters on September 30, 2022, but it was pushed back until January 25, 2024, due to production delays caused by the COVID-19 epidemic. Aside from Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, the film also stars Anil Kapoor as the lead, as well as brilliant actors such as Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, and Talat Aziz in key roles.
To Honor Anil’s 65th birthday, Hrithik welcomed him aboard Fighter in December of last year. While uploading a photo with Anil and Siddharth on social media, Hrithik wrote, “Happiest Birthday to the man who grows younger each year in spirit and health, Anil Kapoor!” Congratulations, Sir. From witnessing your famous presence on sets as a mere assistant to ultimately sharing the screen with you… “I’m really looking forward to #Fighter.”
Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s first collaboration is Fighter. When asked about the partnership, Deepika told a news outlet, “Yeah, I’ve always wanted to work with him.” It appears to be the… Sometimes it is not about collaborating with someone. There appear to be numerous things. It must be the right script, the right director, and the perfect period in your life. So many factors influence whether or not a film is made. So, sure, I believe it’s about time for us to get together.”
Siddharth Anand unveiled the project in 2021. The project is particularly personal to Siddharth Anand, as it represents the start of his production company, Marflix, which is committed to action filmmaking in India. “I begin this Marflix journey with my life partner Mamta Anand,” Siddharth Anand remarked.
He has seen my work as an AD, then as a director on two films, and now I am not just his director but also the co-founder of my production company, which is why starting MARFLIX with Hrithik is significant.
Anand’s reputation in the film industry follows him, and he has an impressive collection full of action offers. It’s also not his first foray into Cruise territory, as Khan-led Pathaan’s soaring moments and lavish theming screamed Mission Impossible. If the initial look is any indication, Fighter will be looking to Top Gun for inspiration.
This, combined with Anand’s own thumbprint, which frequently blends romance and drama into the bones of action stories, hints that sparks may ignite both on the ground and in space.
Fighter is intended for a large-screen cinematic experience. It was shot in a variety of genuine places and employs cutting-edge cinematic technology to create a never-before-seen extravaganza for global audiences. “Fighter,” the director told a media group exclusively, “is a film that is extraordinarily challenging, and different, and our world has never been tried before, so it’s an exciting job to do every day on set.”. In terms of action, we’re giving the audience something extremely different from War and Pathaan.”
Hrithik Roshan discussed his film-signing process and explained why he signed yes to Fighter. Every film, according to the incredibly skilled actor, has to touch his brain process in some manner, and that is what makes him take it up.
Interestingly, Hrithik stated that this is the key reason he constantly tries to choose from diverse genres because he dislikes monotony. When it came to Fighter, it was the desire, hope, and chance to push the film to the next level in terms of VFX, world-building, and much more that prompted him to say yes to Siddharth Anand’s directorial debut.
Hrithik Roshan said the Fighter is an intriguing project because of the process of “creating the superhero.” According to the actor’s statements, the Siddharth Anand-directed film will portray him as a larger-than-life figure, primarily a ‘superhero,’ as he claimed. The actor, however, has not divulged anything about his character in the film.
