Kamal Haasan || Starts his New Project KH 234 with Mani Ratnam
Kamal Haasan has confirmed his future venture with filmmaker Mani Ratnam, and the ‘Nayagan’ team will return for the film after 36 years. Their reunion has been originally titled ‘KH 234,’ and pre-production work on the film has yet to be finished.
The early word on ‘KH 234’ is that Nayanthara is in discussions to play the female lead in the Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam flick. Before, it was reported that the makers of ‘KH 234’ were looking for Trisha to play the female protagonist, and the actress was supposed to reunite with Kamal Haasan for the third time following ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ and ‘Thoongavanam’.
Here is some exciting news for Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam fans alike. On Sunday, producer Udhayanidhi Stalin announced Haasan’s future project, tentatively titled KH 234, which would be directed and scripted by none other than Ratnam. After the legendary 1987 film Nayakan, this is Haasan and Ratnam’s second collaboration. AR Rahman, an Oscar winner, will compose the film’s music.
Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam, the renowned combination behind one of Indian cinema’s greatest gangster flicks, Nayagan, are likely to reunite shortly. After a 35-year hiatus, the experienced filmmaker and legendary actor are reuniting for a new movie tentatively dubbed KH 234.
The highly awaited project was released ahead of Kamal Haasan’s 68th birthday as a surprise for cinema fans and adoring fans of the legend. According to sources, KH 234 will begin filming in mid-2023 and will hit theatres in 2024.
However, the newest news claims that the makers are in negotiations with Nayanthara for the female lead in ‘KH 234′. If the negotiations go smoothly, it will be the actress’ debut collaboration with Kamal Haasan. Additionally, we have to wait and watch whether the producers want to cast two prominent South actresses, Nayanthara and Trisha, alongside Kamal Haasan in ‘KH 234’. Let us, however, wait for the producers to formally unveil the female lead.
