The Creator is a science fiction action thriller film that will hit theaters on September 29, 2023. Gareth Edwards, who co-wrote the screenplay with Chris Weitz, produced and directed the film. John David Washington, Gemma Chan, Ken Watanabe, Sturgill Simpson, and Allison Janney star in the picture.
The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic future where a renegade artificial intelligence (AI) has launched a nuclear attack on humanity. The United States and its allies have prohibited all artificial intelligence, but Asian countries have embraced it as part of their culture and identity. The two sides engage in a clandestine battle, with the US building a huge airship named NOMAD that can deliver nuclear strikes from above.
