Mike Flanagan’s The Fall of the House of Usher is an anticipated gothic horror drama miniseries. It is partially based on Edgar Allan Poe’s short story of the same name and other sources. It will be released on Netflix on October 12, 2023.

Roderick Usher, the CEO of a fraudulent pharmaceutical corporation, is confronted with his questionable history as his children begin dying in mysterious and terrible ways. His twin sister Madeline, who died in a horrific accident years ago, constantly haunts him. The film depicts the tale of O’Keefe, an individual funeral home owner in Mississippi, who sued the Loewen Group, a huge Canadian funeral home conglomerate, over a contractual disagreement that threatened to put him out of business. O’Keefe obtained a historic judgment of $500 million in damages with the aid of Gary, an unorthodox personal injury lawyer from Florida, exposing the corruption and bigotry in the death care industry.
