Sonakshi Sinha’s first OTT Series, Dahaad, will air on Amazon Prime Video on May 12. The Criminal Drama, Directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchi Oberoi, also stars Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah, and Soham Shah in prominent roles. Prime Video has announced the imminent release of Dahaad, an Amazon Original crime drama. Dahaad will now launch on Prime Video on May 12, 2023, after being the first Indian series to premiere at The Berlinale International Film Festival earlier this year.
Sonakshi plays sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati in Dahaad, who is on a mission alongside her colleagues to investigate a horrible crime with an unknowing criminal on the run. Anjali Bhaati, a Sub-inspector, is in charge of the inquiry. The killings appear to be clear-cut suicides at first, but as the cases unravel, Anjali suspects a serial murderer is on the loose.

Manyuu Doshi, Yogi Singha, Sanghmitra Hitaishi, Ratnabali Bhattacharjee, Nirmal Chiraniyan, Vijay Kumar Dogra, Abhishek Bhalerao, and Waris Ahmed Zaidi round out the cast of Dahaad.

Sonakshi will Play a Female Officer in the crime series, which will be helmed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi. The online series, produced by Tiger Baby and Excel Media & Entertainment, stars Yogi Singha, Manyuu Doshi, Nirmal Chiraniyan, Vijay Kumar Dogra, Sanghmitra Hitaishi, and Waris Ahmed Zaidi, among others.
Sonakshi Sinha is an Indian film actress who was born on June 2, 1987. She made her acting debut in 2010 with the action thriller Dabangg, which won her the Filmfare Award for Finest Female Debut after working as a costume designer in small films.

She appeared in a one-minute video of PSA asking people to adopt and sterilize their pets. “Breeders, pet stores, and people who don’t sterilize their animals are responsible for all the animals who end up homeless,” she has been cited as saying.
