Sonakshi Sinha Career

In 2005, Sonakshi Sinha began her career as a costume designer, creating outfits for films including “Mera Dil Leke Dekho.” In the 2010 movie “Dabangg,” in which she co-starred with Salman Khan, she made her acting debut. It eventually turned into an all-time classic and the highest-grossing movie of 2010. To play a country girl, Sinha had to reduce by 3 kilograms. Renowned critic Taran Adarsh praised Sonakshi Sinha’s performance, saying that “Sonakshi Sinha looks fresh, acts confidently, and pairs off very well with Salman.”

She conveys the proper emotions, and most importantly, she is not overshadowed by the cast’s galaxy of A-list actors, even though the movie had a great opening weekend with about on the first day and subsequently became a blockbuster. Nevertheless, Sonakshi Sinha’s decorative role was criticized by writer Rajeev Masand, who claimed that she “seems to exist in this film only to have her midriff repeatedly pinched by Akshay Kumar.” Her subsequent movie, “Joker,” directed by Shirish Kunder and starring Akshay Kumar, was a box office failure and garnered largely unfavorable reviews. Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, her third movie, “Son of Sardaar,” starring Ajay Devgn, was a financial success.

Arbaaz Khan’s ”Dabangg 2”, the follow-up to her hugely successful debut, received little appreciation from critics despite proving to be a significant commercial success, according to critic Saibal Chatterjee from NDTV, who observed that Sonakshi Sinha “endeavors to be pretty and dainty amid all the madness.” In the Hindi version of “Rise of the Guardians,” Sinha also provided the voice of Tooth.

Sonakshi Sinha starred opposite Ranveer Singh in Vikramaditya Motwane’s historical romance movie “Lootera,” which was released in 2013. The movie got positive reviews despite a lackluster box office performance, and Sinha’s portrayal of Pakhi, a Bengali girl who is dying of tuberculosis, won universal praise from critics. Sonakshi Sinha, who gives a mature and elegant performance, is unquestionably the highlight of the movie, according to Sarita Tanwar. She is the character in every way. Raja Sen concurs, adding Sonakshi Sinha “plays Pakhi beautifully, creating a character who is impeccably wide-eyed and possesses casual, yet undeniable, grace.”

She gives a performance that begins softly and becomes more intense, and she does dialogue that has been carefully crafted just like few actresses can. Pakhi exhibits a definite weakness throughout the entire movie, and Sonakshi brilliantly captures this vulnerability without ever overplaying it. She then made an appearance in Milan Luthra’s criminal romance movie “Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara!”
